Timlin & Cartin Famiies in Haslingden 1861 

The Timlin and Cartin families were very close and intertwined for over 100 years.  Mary Cartin, born 1799 married Bartholome

in Ireland.  We have the records of both of their sons Richard Timlin and Edward Timlin. And now we have the record of their mother,

 Mary Timlin living with her Cartin relatives in Haslingden in the 1861 Census.

Comments:  It is likely tht Mary (Cartin) Timlin b. 1799 is the wife of Bartolomew Timlin. 
Unfortunately, in the 1861 Census the Enumerator does not list the Timlin relationships except as "Lodgers"
